Hello everyone! Here is a late post reviewing my recent Colourpop purchases. This is the first time I’ve ever ordered from this company and I am very pleased so far! Read on for my thoughts on the two Lippie Stix I purchased as well as one Super Shock Shadow.
I’ll start off with the Lippie Stix. I bought two colors, Lumiere and Creature, and both are mattes. I was so impressed with the pigmentation and feel of these lipsticks. The smaller applicator makes it easier to stay in the lines, and the staying power is pretty awesome. These mattes are a bit sticky but they aren’t too drying which is great. I wore Creature for about 6 hours before reapplying and it was still mostly there, even after eating!
Lumiere is the beautiful color created by KathleenLights on youtube, and I love it so much! The mauve is perfect for fall, but it also comes off as a sort of nude. Creature is your true vampy pink/red. It will look almost black but with some redder pigmentation. This lipstick is not for the fearful, but it is wonderfully pigmented and I loved wearing it on colder days. It does require a lip liner to keep things in the edges of your lips if you’re not careful.
The Super Shock Shadow that I purchased is called Drift and is a lovely cranberry shimmer color. It is pretty bold, but I’ve been loving it for fall. I use a primer underneath, but it did last a good 8 hours before creasing which impressed me. You can even use your fingers to apply by tapping. The pigmentation is pretty good as well.
All in all, I have a very positive opinion of this brand, especially because of the price. I got all of these great products for $15 total and I am impressed. I highly recommend checking out Colourpop if you are in the states and can order it easily!
