The Look: A Sunny Fall Day

IMG_2869

We all know that one of the common denominators of the fall season is crummy cloudy weather. I’m as big of a fan of dark vampy looks as anyone else, but I do miss the sunshine every once and a while! There was a nice bought of upper 60’s weather this week so I’m going to show you my look for a warm fall day! Read on for the look.

My eye makeup was pretty neutral and lighter for sunny weather. I used colors in the Naked2 Basics palette and created winged eyeliner with the darkest shadow. I added a layer of mascara and did my eyebrows as usual.

For my face I used my usual base and concealer, then added the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful. This blush color is pretty bright and I prefer it in the summertime. I used a new Clinique lipstick I got in a gift set called Matte Plum. While it isn’t the most creative name, the color is a beautiful mix between purple and pink. I also think it could be easily used in fall and spring because of the coloring.

For my outfit I picked a nice coral dress that brightens up any room. It is classy enough for work but also really cute! I wore some tights as well and some of my favorite oxford shoes. I get so many compliments on these shoes every time I wear them! For my jewelry I wore one of my favorite ear ornaments that winds up the ear a bit, to spice up the outfit.

I hope you enjoyed this post on a sunny fall look! I decided I really liked this one and had to share. Don’t forget to follow me on social media in the side bar!
