I’ve been wearing this eyeshadow look quite a bit this fall season, so I decided to share how it’s done! Read on for this neutral purple eyeshadow look!
The key to this look is an eyeshadow quad I was given from a Clinique gift set. The colors from left to right and top to bottom are called 08 ticklish, 20 jammin, 10 going steady, and 33 graphite. The purples are quite vivid, but come off as neutral on the eye which is nice for the fall months.
I started off with the color going steady (or the second lightest color) all over my lid. This color isn’t very visible, especially in pictures, but that makes it perfect for a neutral lid shade.
Next up was the most purple looking shade, jammin. This color is what makes the purple come out in the eye look. I messily applied it all over my crease with a fluffy brush until it was well blended.
The last touch was to add the purple/gray color in the outer corner. The color was appropriately named graphite, and it adds a beautiful smoke to the eyeshadow look. While I consider this look great for the day, it is a bit more dressed up than your average eyeshadow.
The final touch was adding ticklish in the inner corners of the eyes and applying mascara. The look is relatively simple considering how nice it looks, and it is very quick! I paired the eyeshadow with a deeper blush and the Revlon lipstick Mauvy Night to keep things in the purple realm.
I think this look is perfect for those you want to add a bit of color without going crazy. It doesn’t stray too far from my brown neutral looks but it does add a bit of excitement! I hope your enjoyed this tutorial and thanks for reading!
