Tutorial: Copper Winged Liner

IMG_3087

I got a copper eyeliner from Colourpop, and I thought a Sunday trip to the mall was the perfect time to use it! This simple look is perfect for a cold winter’s day with just a little bit of sunshine. Read on for the look.

I started by doing my foundation as usual. I’ve described that about 1000 times, so I won’t bore you with the details. For my eyes I used my Naked2 Basics palette to add a cream base and a brown to the crease for definition.

I like to add definition to the lid when I do a wing for a little extra oomph. Next up I used the Coloupop gel liner in Over Board to create a nice copper wing. The color is great because it lands between brown and copper for something more natural. This liner goes on well so it was easy to make the wing too!

For the rest of my face I used a neutral pink blush and the Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Melon Pop. The melon color brings a bit of bright spring into the look for a sunny day (despite how terribly cold it has been in Chicago).

That is the finished look for a day shopping with the girls! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on the Colourpop gel liner that I am loving! Don’t forget to follow me on social media in the side bar!
