The Look: Beyoncé Concert

Hey everyone, it’s time for another makeup and fashion look in the beautiful month of June! This one is a particular favorite because it comes with the memory of a life-changing Beyoncé concert. She was fantastic guys, and I had the best time ever (even though I lost my voice completely for 2 days afterwards!). This look is not only inspired by The Queen herself, but is also great for a large outdoor concert venue. Check it out below!

I needed to combine a few factors for this look to be perfect: the fabulous nature of Queen Bey AND being comfortable at an evening stadium concert. I decided to combine several eye products to create a warm smoky eye. I wanted something that was more intense than my normal looks.

For the shimmer I used Colourpop’s Weenie all over my lid. I’m a big fan of this rose gold pearlized color. I used tape on the outer corners to create a neater line before buffing the Naked3 Palette’s Factory into my crease. I added a bit of a darker smoky effect in the outer corners with the same palette’s black color, Blackheart.

I added black winged liner to my lids to add drama before applying some Ardell demi wispie lashes. This look is all about drama that will match Beyonce’s perfect look. I added more of the Factory brown to my lower lashes to finish the eyes.

The only thing I changed about my face makeup is using a primer under the foundation. I wanted the makeup to last all afternoon and night, so I used the Makeup Forever Smoothing Primer. I added my brows, blush, and a bit of bronzer to keep color in my face. The lip color is Colourpop’s lippie stix in LBB. This deep pink is great for a dramatic look on a paler skin tone.

I chose gold accessories for a bit of extra glamour. This chain cuff is one of my favorite ways to add a bit of sass to my glam. I wore a gold statement necklace as well to jazz up a simple outfit. The tank was a must with its Beyoncé quote, and the shorts are comfortable for the hot weather. I wore ankle combat boots and brought along a chambray shirt in case it got colder at night.

With all of that preparation, my concert experience was completely perfect! Everyone was dressed to the nines, and the energy was amazing! This look is for all you Bey fans who are heading out to the arena tour, or anyone who channels The Queen in your everyday life! I hope you enjoyed it.
